In 1997 FDC was selected the winner of the NSW NECA award for Major Industrial Teledata Category 7 section for the Installation of Campus fibre optic and UTP copper network cabling infrastructures at Qantas Sydney and Melbourne Jet Base sites.
In 2005 FDC was again selected the winner of the NSW NECA Award of Excellence for Commercial - Large Project Category 10. This project involved completely replacing the data and communications cabling system over twenty three floors of the AMP building with a Category 6 Siemon system for a new VoiP installation. The project was extremely complex, requiring detailed project management of numerous issues including limited building access and asbestos.
